Meet the Team Behind Leap Into Language
We’re a passionate team of speech professionals dedicated to helping children grow in confidence, communication, and connection—through playful, personalized therapy in the heart of Zephyrhills and Dade City.
Ms. Jamie Beer, M.S., CCC-SLP
Founder of Leap Into Language, proud mom of three, and passionate about family-centered care.
Jamie holds a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida. She founded Leap Into Language in 2006 with the mission of providing warm, individualized care to families in her community. With over two decades of experience, Jamie specializes in early language development, articulation, and autism—always leading with compassion, creativity, and connection. Her sessions are play-based, collaborative, and focused on real-life progress.
Outside the therapy room, Jamie’s world revolves around her kids, her goofy dogs (Journey and Nala), cheering for Gator football, and supporting her son’s college team in Ohio. Whether cruising new places or winding down with Pilates and Netflix, she believes every moment is an opportunity to learn, laugh, and connect.
“When we work together as a team—child, therapist, and family—anything is possible.”
Ms. Erin Pitcher, B.S., SLPA
Speech therapist assistant, play-based strategist, and advocate for connection-first care.
Erin earned her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida. As a licensed SLPA, she supports children across a variety of needs, with a special interest in early language development and child-led, play-based therapy. She believes in meeting kids where they are—emotionally, developmentally, and creatively—often using their favorite toys and interests to build trust, connection, and meaningful communication.
Erin incorporates articulation goals as part of her sessions when appropriate, but her passion lies in helping little ones find their first words, spark new ideas, and connect with those around them. She loves when children bring in toys from home, creating an instant bond and shared language that drives progress in a way that feels natural and joyful.
Outside the therapy room, Erin is the founder of The Gold Standard Collective, a women’s health platform focused on advocacy, transparency, and building supportive spaces for healing. She is passionate about empowering families, improving community care, and creating systems that honor the full person—not just the diagnosis. At home, she’s proudly owned by two cats—MJ and Kitty—who completely converted her from a lifelong dog person.
“You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation.”

Ms. Lindsy Hicks, M.S., CF-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist, feeding-focused clinician, and school-based SLP balancing care at home and in the classroom.
Lindsy is a newly graduated Speech-Language Pathologist and proud mom of three energetic boys (plus two equally spirited dogs!). She earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Baylor University in August and completed her clinical internship right here at Leap Into Language—where her passion, natural connection with families, and love for the work quickly stood out.
After completing her internship, Lindsy chose to stay with Leap Into Language to continue supporting school-aged children while also stepping into her new role as an SLP at Woodland Elementary in Zephyrhills. She brings a special enthusiasm for articulation and feeding therapy and finds deep joy in helping children gain confidence and independence through meaningful communication.
Lindsy is known for her compassionate, family-focused approach and her ability to create a calm, supportive environment—no small feat when you’re balancing three boys, two dogs, and a full caseload! In her downtime (when she finds it), you’ll likely catch her curled up with a good book, savoring a rare quiet moment.
She’s honored to be part of each child’s journey and is excited to grow alongside the families she serves.
Ms. Taylor Pudoka, B.A., SLPA
Speech therapist with a focus on clear communication and confident expression.
Taylor has been part of the Leap Into Language team for the past three years, where she brings focus, patience, and enthusiasm to every session. Her primary area of expertise is articulation, and she’s passionate about helping children learn how to produce speech sounds clearly and confidently. Whether working on early developing sounds or more complex patterns, Taylor takes care to break down each goal in a way that’s approachable, fun, and tailored to the child’s unique learning style.
She also has a strong interest in early language development and supporting children with autism—always looking for opportunities to help her clients feel understood and empowered. For Taylor, one of the most rewarding parts of this work is hearing a child say something clearly for the first time, and watching that progress ripple into their confidence, relationships, and daily life.
